And now...

JMC 3003 Summer blogs

Welcome to the summer JMC 3003 blogs. While most people are drifting through their summer, ten students in Gaylord Hall are stressing out on finding stories for their blogs. Take a moment to see what they have dug up on the streets of Norman, Oklahoma.

For those who are looking for things to do around Norman, we have three blogs to check out. Christine Whitten is covering Norman's summer camps while Victory Reneau is scouting the local attractions. Meanwhile, Emily Summar is covering the art scene in Norman in her Emily's Hot Spots.

Katherine Borgerding is on a hunt for bargains. Her Out and About brings you stories from behind the local style-for-less scene. Colin Mullen is turning over the local music industry to cover the business hidden underneath all that music. Although the NFL draft was month's ago, sports is still big around here and Josh Kopelman will be there covering it. Staying in the sports column, Chris Miller is on an odyssey to undercover Oklahoma soccer stories during and beyond the World Cup.

Did you know Oklahoma has a navel base? If you do not believe it, visit Sabrina Prosser's Living with the Military where she covers the officers and family at the TACOMA Navel Branch.

Two students are covering the world of non-profit organizations and the volunteers who keep them going. At Informational Inspiration Lindsay Whelchel is bringing news to Oklahoma's young activists who are looking for ways to get involved. On Matt Mozek's Community Service blog, everyone of all ages can find out how they can help their central Oklahoman community.
